Bloomberg brings onchain stablecoin data to its Terminal
Bloomberg has added a stablecoin dashboard to its Terminal that delivers hourly onchain metrics for major stablecoins. The Allium-powered tool tracks supply, issuance, transfers and activity across blockchains and is accessible to Terminal users via RWAS <GO>.

Why It Matters
Integrating onchain stablecoin data into the Terminal brings crypto-native metrics into the workflows used by banks, asset managers and traders, enabling faster comparison of stablecoin issuance and flows alongside traditional markets data. The dashboard covers the vast majority of circulating stablecoins, reflecting growing institutional interest in stablecoin activity and transparency.
Key Facts
- Product: Stablecoin dashboard on the Bloomberg Terminal
- Data provider: Allium (blockchain data platform)
- Update frequency: Hourly
- Coverage threshold: Stablecoins with more than $100 million in circulation
- Market coverage: Represents over 98% of the stablecoin market (per Bloomberg)
Bloomberg has rolled out a new stablecoin dashboard within its Terminal, delivering hourly onchain metrics for major stablecoins. The feature, built on data from blockchain analytics firm Allium, is designed to give Terminal subscribers direct access to issuance and activity measures for coins that exceed $100 million in circulation.
The dashboard lets users compare stablecoins across several dimensions, including circulating supply, mints and burns, transfer volumes and transaction velocity. It also breaks down activity by the underlying blockchain network and by peg type, with categories that include fiat-pegged and commodity-pegged stablecoins.
Terminal clients can open the tool through RWAS <GO>, which places the onchain stablecoin dataset alongside Bloomberg’s existing fixed-income, foreign-exchange and money-market resources. Bloomberg noted that the Terminal already integrates cryptocurrency pricing and reference data — it has carried Bitcoin pricing since 2014 and provides pricing, identifiers and benchmarks for about 50 cryptocurrencies.
The launch comes amid growth in the stablecoin sector: DeFiLlama data cited by Bloomberg shows the market capitalization of stablecoins has climbed past $306 billion, with Tether’s USDT comprising roughly 60% of that total. By embedding these onchain metrics into a widely used institutional platform, Bloomberg is extending crypto-related analytics into more traditional market workflows.
