Crypto's campaign arm, Fairshake, sets lists of U.S. House favorites it'll spend on
Fairshake, the crypto industry super PAC, announced it is backing 32 incumbent U.S. House candidates in the November elections, split between 13 Democrats and 19 Republicans. Six of those incumbents will receive roughly $1 million each from Fairshake and affiliated groups, the PAC said.

Why It Matters
The slate concentrates on incumbents in generally secure districts and includes members of committees that will shape future crypto policy, potentially reinforcing Congressional support for the industry. Fairshake's targeted spending and history of primary success could help preserve or expand pro-crypto lawmakers ahead of upcoming tax and market-structure debates.

Fairshake, a political action committee representing crypto industry interests, released a list of 32 incumbent U.S. House members it plans to support in the November general election. The slate comprises 13 Democrats and 19 Republicans and is weighted toward lawmakers who hold seats considered relatively secure, the PAC said. Among Republicans noted as top beneficiaries are French Hill, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee who has led crypto legislation in the chamber, Bill Huizenga, a senior Financial Services Committee member, and Bryan Steil, who chairs the subcommittee on digital assets. On the Democratic side, Fairshake highlighted Steven Horsford of Nevada and California’s Derek Tran, both of whom earned an “A” rating from the group Stand With Crypto, as well as Oregon Democrat Janelle Bynum. Fairshake said six of the listed incumbents will receive roughly $1 million apiece from the PAC and its affiliates. The organization also emphasized its past primary performance, saying it backed 53 winners out of 57 primary races, and described its objective as building the largest pro-crypto caucus in U.S. history. The PAC’s target list includes members of committees central to crypto policy, such as House Ways and Means and House Financial Services, as well as representatives on Agriculture, Science and Judiciary panels — all of which could be influential on future tax, regulatory and market-structure measures. Fairshake’s spending to date has been used for independent advertising buys; the PAC said those ads generally avoid explicitly mentioning crypto and instead focus on other voter issues.
