Ondo’s Oasis Pro Markets Joins DTCC’s Fund/SERV Processing Network

Oasis Pro Markets, the broker-dealer arm of Ondo Finance, has joined the DTCC’s Fund/SERV network, becoming the platform’s first participant that specializes in tokenization, the firms said in a joint announcement on Sept. 16. The membership gives Oasis a single standardized connection to fund companies, wealth platforms and service providers that handle the bulk of U.S. mutual fund transactions, though no specific Ondo product or go-live date was disclosed.

Why It Matters

Linking a tokenization-focused broker-dealer to DTCC’s widely used Fund/SERV network could enable broader distribution of tokenized funds through existing industry channels; however, the announcement only confirms participant access and connectivity, not that any Ondo fund has begun transacting on the platform.

Key Facts

  • Announcement date: Sept. 16
  • New participant: Oasis Pro Markets (broker-dealer subsidiary of Ondo Finance)
  • First tokenization participant: Yes — first tokenization-company participant on Fund/SERV
  • FINRA registration: Oasis Pro Markets listed in BrokerCheck, CRD 149420; owner identified as Ondo Finance Inc.
  • Fund/SERV market coverage: Handles more than 85% of U.S. mutual fund transaction activity (per DTCC)

Oasis Pro Markets, the broker-dealer subsidiary of Ondo Finance, has become a member of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s Fund/SERV network, according to a joint announcement published Sept. 16. DTCC and Ondo said the move makes Oasis the first participant on Fund/SERV that comes from the tokenization sector.

DTCC described the membership as giving Oasis a single, standardized connection to fund companies, wealth platforms and service providers, replacing the need for separate, fund-by-fund integrations. The connection is intended to carry account-level data and operational messages including transaction confirmations, reconciliation, fund distributions, tax reporting and regulatory filings. DTCC also notes that Fund/SERV handles digital order submissions, confirmations and daily settled trades.

Fund/SERV was designed to supplant the industry’s prior ‘‘Spaghetti Model,’’ where bilateral links between fund companies and distributors were maintained individually. Launched in 1986, the platform now serves more than 1,300 clients and, per DTCC, moves in excess of $12 trillion in activity annually. DTCC confirmed Oasis’s membership on its official X account as well as in the joint release.

The announcement emphasized that the change grants participant access and standardized connectivity, but it did not identify any particular Ondo fund, a distributor partner, a first transaction or a go-live date on Fund/SERV. DTCC said the membership ‘‘paves the way’’ for Ondo tokenized funds to be distributed through the traditional fund ecosystem, but product-level implementation on the platform remains unannounced. FINRA’s BrokerCheck lists Oasis Pro Markets under CRD 149420 and identifies Ondo Finance Inc. as its owner.
