IRCTC shares surge 3% after Q4 profit jumps 26% YoY to Rs 358 crore

Shares of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) surged 3% to the day’s high of Rs 800 on NSE on Thursday, after the company reported a 26% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its consolidated net profit for Q4FY25 to Rs 358 crore, compared with Rs 284 crore in the same quarter last year.Revenue from operations for the March quarter stood at Rs 1,269 crore, up 10% from Rs 1,152 crore reported in Q4FY24.On a sequential basis, profit after tax (PAT) rose 5% from Rs 341 crore in Q3FY25. Revenue was up 4% from Rs 1,225 crore in the October–December quarter.For the full financial year, the net profit stood at Rs 1,315 crore versus Rs 1,111 crore reported in FY24.
