Seven Ethiopian armed groups announced on Sunday they have formed a coalition called the Ethiopian Peoples’ Forces Alliance for Survival, aiming to topple Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s government and establish an inclusive transitional administration. The alliance brings together larger movements — including Fano, the TPLF and the OLA — alongside four smaller regional groups and follows months of talks among the leaders.
