A federal appeals court heard arguments Wednesday in a legal challenge that could eliminate access to medication abortion, even in states that currently protect the procedure. A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit questioned lawyers for Louisiana, the Food and Drug Administration and two manufacturers and distributors involved in the case.
