The Ethereum Foundation has designated two proposals as essential for the upcoming Hegotá upgrade: FOCIL to enhance transaction censorship resistance and Frame Transactions to enable native account abstraction with post-quantum authentication capabilities. The Foundation evaluated 62 total improvement proposals using input from approximately 60 researchers and engineers, marking the first coordinated assessment of its kind across the Protocol cluster.
