The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has approved a plan enabling Agora to transfer issuance and reserves for its AUSD stablecoin to a U.S. trust bank. The bank would assume those functions from Agora’s current Bermuda-registered entity but must satisfy specified capital, liquidity and compliance requirements before it may begin operations.
