OpenAI has acquired smartphone camera startup Glass Imaging in a deal reported to be worth more than $300 million, according to The Wall Street Journal. The Los Altos company, founded in 2019 by two former Apple engineers, has developed AI that improves images at capture by modeling individual camera systems.
