At its Surprise and Shine event, Apple introduced new Apple Watch features that use on-device AI to listen for sounds, transcribe recent speech, and generate summaries of ambient conversations. The updates include Audio Intelligence for sound detection, Live Rewind to recover and transcribe the prior 15 seconds of speech, and Siri Recap to create high-level notes from ambient audio.
