The Federal Aviation Administration plans to deploy an $875 million AI-driven software program called SMART to help manage air traffic and assist controllers in predicting and resolving conflicts. Developed by Air Space Intelligence, the cloud-based platform will first be introduced in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and then expanded to other regions.
