Ondo Finance has launched an in-kind conversion mechanism that lets approved institutions mint tokenized stocks and ETFs by transferring the underlying securities, or redeem tokens back into the original shares. The feature complements Ondo’s existing cash-funded minting process and is available on Ethereum and BNB Chain for institutional clients approved by Alpaca with active Alpaca and Ondo accounts.
