A former China Construction Bank (Asia) customer relationship manager in Hong Kong was sentenced to four years behind bars after admitting to falsifying letters of credit covering over $1.6 billion and taking about $470,000 in cryptocurrency bribes. The court also ordered him to repay the cryptocurrency proceeds, and the anti-corruption agency has sought warrants for additional arrests in the matter.
