Bose has begun rolling out a firmware update (version 10.12.12) that adds Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast support as beta features to its $449 QuietComfort Ultra Headphones Gen 2. The update also includes wired-USB audio improvements and enhancements for gaming and web conferencing compatibility, with Bose saying it intends to bring Auracast to additional products.
