David Rubenstein, the former long-time chair of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts who was removed from the board by President Trump last year, has purchased the sculpture titled “Blue” after it was taken down from the center’s grounds last week. The artwork had been dismantled and removed prior to Rubenstein’s acquisition.
