Health workers in parts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo have begun receiving the Ervebo Ebola vaccine as authorities seek to protect frontline staff amid the countrys fastest-growing outbreak. The campaign, starting in Bunia in Ituri province, will inject about 50,000 frontline workers and monitor 20,000 recipients for up to a year to assess protection against the Bundibugyo strain.
