The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and oil industry groups asked President Trump to oppose proposals to ban diesel exports, responding after the president said he was considering such a measure to combat higher fuel prices. More than 30 business, energy and manufacturing organizations signed a letter urging rejection of limits on diesel shipments, the groups said on Wednesday.
