Why Generation Z is less likely to view China as a threat

A Chicago Council on Global Affairs survey conducted in August found clear generational differences in how Americans view China’s global rise. Only 34% of Generation Z respondents said China is a “critical threat,” compared with 43% of Millennials, while older generations expressed greater wariness.
