Meta has released Muse, its AI assistant app, for macOS, enabling the assistant to access and act on files, messages, calendar entries, notes and mail within native Mac applications. The desktop launch follows Muse's introductions on mobile and the web earlier this month and comes as competition between consumer-facing AI agents intensifies.
