Fervo Energy said it began selling electricity from its Cape Station enhanced geothermal plant to the grid on September 30, one day ahead of schedule, and the site had synchronized with the grid about a week earlier. The initial commissioning brought online roughly one-third of an intended 100-megawatt installation, with Fervo describing the project as the first commercial-scale success for enhanced geothermal technology.
