Bitwise to put down Dogecoin ETF less than a year after launch

Bitwise will liquidate its Bitwise Dogecoin ETF (ticker: BWOW) in October, under a year after the fund's launch. The firm said it is closing the product to streamline its offerings; trading on NYSE Arca is expected to end Oct. 14 with cash distributions to follow around Oct. 22.
