UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin and CONCACAF president Victor Montagliani have asked FIFA president Gianni Infantino for an independent review of FIFA’s reserves and proposed a $2.1 billion one-off distribution to the organisation’s 211 member associations. The payout would provide at least $10 million to each association for the 2027–30 cycle on top of existing Forward Programme funding and is tied to scrutiny of the abandoned FIFA Forward Enterprise plan.
