The International Energy Agency cut another 1.4 million barrels per day from its 2026 global oil supply outlook and now sees supply slumping by 5.7 million bpd next year, a roughly 6% decline from current levels. The agency said normal flows from the Gulf are unlikely to resume in 2026 and now expects a return to typical Gulf production only in 2027.
