Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces struck multiple Ukrainian industrial sites, including steel plants in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih, and hit two cargo vessels in the Black Sea port of Chornomorsk. The ministry framed the strikes as part of a campaign against Kyiv’s manufacturing infrastructure, while Ukraine and Russia continued to trade long-range drone and missile attacks.
