Digitimes reports that Intel plans a roughly 10 percent increase to PC CPU prices in October, continuing earlier price rises from this year. The same report says Intel may cut 5 to 10 percent of its workforce while possibly making targeted hires, and could retire its Small Core line — a move that would mainly affect industrial and IoT products rather than consumer PCs.
