A British investor who believed he had lost 2,000 pounds worth of bitcoin in 2012 has recovered approximately 4.5 million pounds after the law firm CEL Solicitors identified a cryptocurrency wallet containing over 5,500 bitcoin belonging to former users of the now-defunct Intersango exchange. The recovery follows years of technological advancement that enabled tracing of digital assets previously thought unrecoverable.
