Bullish, Equiniti, Alpaca, Apex Fintech Solutions and DriveWealth have launched the Issuer Sponsored Token Coalition to develop standards for tokenized securities that remain linked to issuers' official shareholder registers. The group will focus on technical standards, settlement, custody and interoperability between traditional market infrastructure and blockchain networks following the U.S. SEC's recent exemption allowing limited onchain trading of U.S.-listed equities.
