Summer Mersinger will resign as CEO of the Blockchain Association and depart the group at year-end after a key legislative priority failed to clear a Senate cloture vote. Kristin Smith will return as interim CEO on Oct. 16 while continuing as president of the Solana Policy Institute, the association said in an announcement updated Sept. 25.
