Waymo has begun opening its robotaxi service to the public in Las Vegas after receiving final approval from Nevada transportation regulators. The Alphabet-owned company is initially deploying dozens of its Ojai minivan robotaxis to cover the Strip south of Highway 589 and into Boulder Junction, with rides available by invitation on a rolling basis.
