Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Thursday that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is “completely” healthy and capable of governing, contradicting persistent reports suggesting the leader may be deceased or brain-dead. Khamenei has not been seen in public for months following reports he was seriously injured in U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Feb. 28 that reportedly killed his father and predecessor.
