Consensys is separating its MetaMask business into a standalone company, with Consensys Software Inc. set to adopt the MetaMask name. Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin will serve as the new firm’s chairman and chief executive, and the company has not disclosed any plans for an initial public offering.
