Anthropic has launched Sonnet 5.5, the latest iteration of its mid-tier AI model, which the company says delivers faster responses and lower token consumption than Sonnet 5. The model is positioned for everyday assistant tasks such as coding and office workflows and will be subject to the same cyber safeguards as some of Anthropic's higher-end models.
