TotalEnergies and local partner AMNI have approved the final investment decision to develop the Ima gas field offshore Nigeria, aiming to boost feedstock for the expanding Nigeria LNG (NLNG) export plant. The shallow-water field near Bonny Island will be tied to NLNG by a 22-kilometer pipeline and is slated to start production in 2028 with a plateau of about 350 million cubic feet per day.
