Angola's National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency, ExxonMobil and Block 15 partners announced a new oil discovery at the Vicango Este-01 well, the 20th find in the deepwater concession since production began. Drilled about 370 km northwest of Luanda to 940 meters, the well encountered 25 meters of high-quality hydrocarbon-bearing sandstone, according to a joint statement reported by OilPrice.com.
