Chipotle is testing a Palantir-built Food Safety Risk Management Platform that aggregates inspection scores, pest reports, and employee illness data to generate risk ratings for individual restaurants. Palantir, which was initially funded by the CIA’s venture arm In-Q-Tel and continues to derive a large share of revenue from government contracts, will deploy the system on its Foundry software. Chipotle confirmed the pilot but has not disclosed rollout details or how individual data will be handled.
