X has filed a lawsuit in London against Vivek Kumar Sen and Zmyang Sherpa, accusing them of operating a network of nine fake bitcoin news accounts to fraudulently collect creator-fund payouts. The company says the accounts posted near-identical, unverified headlines and used coordinated engagement to generate payments totaling at least £207,000.
