Venezuela freed 39 political prisoners after a second round of talks between the interim government led by Delcy Rodríguez and opposition figures, in a process backed by the United States. Human rights group Justicia, Encuentro y Perdón (JEP) reported the releases took place between Friday and Saturday from multiple prisons.
