Polymarket overhauls smart contracts with new Protocol V2 rollout

Prediction market platform Polymarket has begun deploying Protocol V2, a rebuilt smart-contract stack designed to support multiple market types through a single exchange and to enable future cross-chain functionality. The company is testing V2 on a subset of live markets through Oct. 30 and plans to start routing new markets to the new protocol around Nov. 2, while leaving existing positions on the current system.
