Investor Farooq Abbasi of Preface Ventures discussed his backing of Neko Health on TechCrunch's Equity podcast after trying the company's body scan, which is part of a push by several startups to create preventative, whole-body scanning services. Neko has raised $700 million to develop its scanning business; other firms such as Midjourney and Function Health are also pursuing body-scanning or preventative-health platforms.
