SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce has formally resigned from the agency, with her departure effective Oct. 2. Peirce, widely known as “Crypto Mom” for her advocacy on crypto policy, served roughly eight years and led the SEC’s Crypto Task Force since February 2025.
