Every story we've covered involving security-forces.
On August 29, a group of soldiers calling itself the Armed Forces for the Restoration of the Homeland launched a coordinated attack on Niameys Air Base 101, the presidential palace and the national broadcaster. Loyalist presidential guard units held the palace while roughly 200 Russian Africa Corps personnel, supported by drones and reported reinforcements from Mali and Libya, assisted in retaking the airbase; at least 27 people were killed and about 100 mutineers arrested.
