Muju Earth Technologies has created the Aeropod, a tiny soil insert designed to aerate fields without traditional tilling equipment or robotics. The fingernail-sized device is sown alongside seeds and, once exposed to specific temperature, pressure and moisture conditions, opens to create channels that improve air, water and root movement in the soil.
