The Federal Reserve Board said on September 22, 2026 that it has approved BancFirst Corporation's application to acquire and merge with Spirit BankCorp, Inc., which will result in BancFirst indirectly acquiring SpiritBank. The approval also allows BancFirst to merge with SpiritBank and to operate branches at SpiritBank's existing locations.
