New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill (D) has demanded that Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell (D) resign by Friday following an ethics report that concluded he violated state policy prohibiting workplace discrimination. The law firm hired by Sherrill’s office found that Caldwell twice sought to have his girlfriend promoted into a state position.
