Hong Kong–founded cryptocurrency exchange CoinEx said it will wind down operations and permanently close on Dec. 22, 2026, exactly nine years after its launch. The platform has already stopped new registrations and will end spot trading on Sept. 29, with withdrawals available until the December shutdown.
