Former board members of the U.S. Institute of Peace filed an emergency petition on Thursday asking a federal appeals court to block the Trump administration from engraving President Trump’s name on the institute’s Washington, D.C., headquarters. The petition was submitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit by lawyers representing the former board members.
