Vogue World closed its Milan edition with a performance by humanoid robots made by Chinese firm Unitree, which walked the Galleria to Gigi D’Agostino’s “L’Amour Toujours” and performed brief choreographed actions. The robot segment, which included one machine doing a lasso and none wearing clothing, drew widespread attention and social-media criticism, overshadowing the fashion on display.
