Nasdaq Ventures agreed to invest $100 million in Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, in a deal that Bloomberg reported values Payward at $21 billion. As part of the expanded relationship, Payward will implement Nasdaq’s market surveillance technology across its trading venues and continue distributing tokenized equities through previously announced partnerships.
