Trump’s ‘big’ reason for exiting G7 early

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that French President and his G7 counterpart, Emmanuel Macron was wrong to assume that his early departure had anything to do with Israel-Iran conflict. In a post on Truth Social, Trump called Macron’s assumption ‘wrong’, and said that his reasons are ‘much bigger’ than any ‘ceasefire’ between Tel Aviv and Tehran. “Publicity seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, mistakenly said that I left the G7 Summit, in Canada, to go back to D.C. to work on a “cease fire” between Israel and Iran. Wrong!” Trump wrote on Truth. He (Macron) has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that. Whether purposely or not, Emmanuel always gets it wrong, said Trump. <iframe src=”https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/114696999897040583/embed” class=”truthsocial-embed” style=”max-width: 100%; border: 0″ width=”600″ allowfullscreen=”allowfullscreen”></iframe><script src=”https://truthsocial.com/embed.js” async=”async”></script>The conflict between Iran and Israel intensified on Tuesday as both struck each other for a fifth consecutive day, prompting US President Donald Trump to urge Iranians to evacuate their capital, Tehran.
