DoubleZero adds Kalshi election market data ahead of US midterms
DoubleZero has added live data from Kalshi’s election and political contracts to its DoubleZero Edge feed, extending coverage beyond the prediction market’s existing sports and crypto perpetual futures data. The integration supplies top-of-book, trade, and aggregated order book information for Kalshi’s election markets as trading activity accelerates ahead of the U.S. midterms.

Why It Matters
Bringing Kalshi’s political markets into a low-latency distribution network makes it easier for institutional and automated traders to ingest and react to shifting market expectations, at a moment when betting on midterm outcomes is growing rapidly. Real-time access could increase participation and the role of prediction markets in pricing political risk.
Key Facts

- Platform: DoubleZero is a network for high-speed data distribution.
- Existing coverage: DoubleZero Edge already carried Kalshi sports contracts and crypto perpetual futures data.

DoubleZero has expanded the reach of its DoubleZero Edge data feed by adding real-time information from Kalshi’s election and politics markets. The change brings political contracts onto the same low-latency distribution system that already carries Kalshi’s sports offerings and crypto perpetual futures, the companies said in a joint announcement.
The new election feed supplies top-of-book quotes, executed trade data and aggregated order book snapshots from Kalshi’s political markets. Kalshi’s head of institutional, Andy Ross, said the integration is designed to make it simpler for institutional desks and automated trading systems to consume political market signals as expectations about electoral outcomes change.
The move comes as wagering on U.S. midterms has increased: research from the Anti-Corruption Data Collective shows bets on the 2026 U.S. midterms reached $133 million as of Aug. 10, exceeding the $92.4 million wagered in the entire 2024 congressional cycle. At the time of reporting, a Kalshi market on which party will win the U.S. House had recorded more than $35 million in trading volume, with odds favoring a Democratic victory at roughly 84%.
By routing Kalshi’s political market data through a high-speed network, DoubleZero and Kalshi aim to lower integration friction for professional and automated participants. That could accelerate the pace at which political information is reflected in market prices and broaden the types of players who use prediction markets to hedge or speculate on electoral outcomes.
